Went there this morning to try out the Japanese pancakes and weren’t disappointed. They understood gf requirements and advised that my son couldn’t have anything dishes with bacon, pork or sausages but everything else was fine. I had the seasonal special which was with strawberries and he had the traditional pancakes with maple syrup, ice cream and whipped cream washed down with homemade yuzoade and watermelon cider both of which were also delicious. Service is slow as each dish is made from scratch so don’t expect to be in and out quickly.

Japan has the best fluffy pancakes of all. Café Tamon’s fluffy pancakes located in Kanazawa are a must and they are made with rice flour. I ordered the strawberry pancakes and I didn’t have any reaction nor symptoms afterwards. As a delicate gluten free allergy starter I fully recommend it!!!

Can't believe there aren't prior reviews, if you're in Kanazawa and Celiac/gluten free, go here. 100% rice flour pancakes, super fluffy and Japanese style. I explained my allergy and they assured me it was gluten free. The menu also mentions gluten free. They had a good amnout of options for different pancakes, most sweet, but one eggs Benedict. I had the original sweet with salted butter, maple syrup, ice cream, and fresh whipped cream. Simply divine! You can also get pancake mix to make your own or take home.
