My 9 year old has Celiac and she said this was the best GF pizza she has ever had (and she's had a lot of GF pizza!). I made a reservation for dinner and told them we wanted pizza and they set it aside. They make it from scratch so yes they may run out if it's been a busy day. Call ahead. I also told them about the 2 people with Celiac in my group when I called and it was noted on the reservation. I have had a couple conversations about their GF good and procedures and the staff is very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. It has been six hours since we ate and neither of my kids are sick.

Overpriced: $20 for GF shrimp scampi. Very limited options. They were out of pizza crust. Worst part, pasta was not very good. I did enjoy the salad, but overall a disappointing experience.

Symptomatic Celiac

I have celiac and felt completely comfortable eating here after talking with the chef/owner, Matt. They take good precautions to avoid cross contamination and offer gfree pizza as well as pasta and a couple other options. I opted for the pasta and it was delicious. It was cooked perfectly (hard to do with gfree pasta) and the sauce (Alfredo) was amazing. And I didn't feel even a teensy bit sick! Highly recommend Cafe Via.

I've eaten safely here several times. the staff seems knowledgeable and helpful. they have gf pizza, pasta, salads and other main dishes that can be modified to be gf. one time when I was there they had a wonderful gf dessert. it was bananas, vanilla pudding and whipped cream. it was so nice to be able to enjoy a meal with the family and not feel like the problem child. 😉
