The cashier lied to me when I asked if everything was gluten free. She simply stated “yes” which should have been my warning. I will accept some blame for being naive. This was my first trip to Seattle and the excitement of having gluten free options kind of had me being too trusting with trying new places. I thought I had read that this place was 100%. They are not. The cashier even told me the wraps were gluten free so that is what I ordered. THE WRAPS ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE. I do not recommend this place for those with celiac disease.
Cashier pulled out a nutrition guide from under the counter, apparently it's online too. The only non-GF category is their wraps and bentos, and those are reportedly prepared in a separate area of the kitchen. Portion sizes aren't the best for the price but I liked the Original bowl with chicken.
They have gf options however yumm sauce is disgusting. Order without it.
Lots of options, fresh ingredients. Rice bowls and salads make eating GF simple. They have a delicious Yumm Sauce that is GF.
I had their original rice bowl, which was quite tasty. The service was friendly and relaxed. The only disappointing thing was that the awesome looking cookies, half dipped in chocolate, are not GF. This is a good place for a quick rice bowl lunch; with a variety of options if you are with a large group of people.
I had a great experience here! I can't remember the person's name that helped me but they even offered to cook things separately to prevent cross contamination, and offered gluten-free cookie (I declined through because trying someplace new was scary enough for me.) I didn't get sick which is great since I was about to catch a 6 hour flight.
