We liked it so much we are there twice! We had breakfast and lunch - fruit scones with jam, bagel with avocado, chicken and cranberry sandwich and another bagel with smoked salmon. Lots of other options including cakes, paninis, soups, and salads.

Amazing!!! So glad I found this little gem! The owner is a delight and the food was fantastic. We stumbled upon this little place when visiting Durham Castle and the Cathedral. I was not expecting much, if any GF items being a tea house but was pleasantly surprised at the options available. They had panini’s, sandwiches, soups, fantastic salads, scones and desserts and more that were GF options.

staff were so nice and understood allergies/coeliac really well, almost everything on the menu could be made gluten free!

Lovely café with a great vibe and nice staff. They offer multiple gluten-free options:) Also sweet food like scones. When I eat here with my gluten-eating friends, I get pretty much the same selection of food as them:)

Beautiful hidden gem with a lovely vibe! We were greeted at the entrance by the owner who guaranteed food was free from cross contamination in the kitchen. Most of the menu can be done gluten free. Gf desserts and scones are available as well as gf bread and bagels. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.
