This review is for the UES location. Ordered the gluten free pasta. As I have celiac, I cannot have any cross contamination. They told me that they cannot cook the pasta in clean, separate pasta water.
I had to leave the restaurant as they could not accommodate. I can no longer trust them.

The food here is excellent. We have dined here several times and have never had a problem. They have GF penne that is substituted. They seem to be well aware of GF needs. I request that they substitute the marinara sauce with the garlic free sauce. Today the charged me an extra $6 for the substitution. I thought it was a very petty and cheap thing to do. But the customer always wins. I just reduced the tip by $6 to cover it. Not sure if I will ever go back. Plenty of other options. If not for this, it would be a five star review.

Very good meal. Service was able to make substitution to suit the vegetarian diet of my guest as well as my own gluten free diet. They also offer GF pasta. Very tasteful but not super fancy, they skipped some of the upscale dining formalities.
