**CAUTION TO ALL CELIACS**
I recently went to Call Me Cuban based on the reviews from other Celiacs. Celiac-safe options were extremely limited and there is NO longer a dedicated fryer. Apparently there is a new chef since the last review. Our waitress was very kind and tried her best to answer questions. After the waitress had many back-and-forths to the kitchen, the manager finally came over to speak with me. She confirmed the limited food choices so I decided to just have a drink. My family and I went straight to Taquiza (just around the block) for celiac-safe tacos and CHURROS.
Positives: Friendly waitstaff, kid-friendly, great atmosphere right across from the beach
BIG negative: Not Celiac safe

Great food and gf knowledgeable staff. GF not listed on the menu but just ask the servers what is gluten free or what can be made gluten free. Very accommodating. 10/10

The food is amazing and the staff was very helpful navigating gluten free. My kids and I have celiac and it was a wonderful experience.

We only had appetizers and drinks, but the waitress was extremely knowledgeable and spoke with the chef about modifying dishes that were not automatically gluten free. They have dedicated gluten-free oil for frying. The yucca fries are a must try! This was absolutely the best GF service I had in Miami Beach (besides maybe Taquiza -- also a must try for my fellow celiacs).

Cuban food. Knowledgeable staff, tasty food, good atmosphere. Outside and inside dining. Large part of the menu can be prepared glutenfree. Dishes prepared seperately by chef to avoid cross contemination. Good knowledge of glutenfree and coliac.

We really wanted to try a Cuban restaurant while in Miami Beach. We walked by The Cuban and spoke to the staff about GF options before sitting down. The menu was not marked, but our server was somewhat knowledgeable about the gluten free options. I ended up having the paella, which was SO GOOD. The restaurant is at the Cardozo hotel and has really nice outdoor seating. If we had been in Miami Beach for longer, we would have gone back a second time.
