Due to the pandemic, the establishment is take out only.
When we called to order, the lady informed us that they no longer have a celiac safe kitchen, there might be a possibility of cross contamination, but they are very aware of gluten free procedures. She was extremely friendly and had us giggling before the end of the order. Pick up was a breeze other than Google maps sending us to the wrong side of the building.
We couldn't decide what to get, so we ordered a bunch of food so we would have leftovers.
The bread on the sandwiches was *divine*. Light, fluffy, amazing mouth feel and a great flavor.
The pizza? That shocked me the most. We tried a slice of "Dragon Slayer", "Hawaiian", "The Pretty Greek" and "Buffalo Chicken". Amazing toppings and lots of them.
The crust...oh the crust. It isn't a pretty crust...but it is the best pizza crust I have ever had that was gluten free. It was flavorful, and pleasantly chewy. I would have sworn it was wheat if I did not know better. (My son had a regular pizza... "Angry Meat"... He loved it).
The fact the staff is so knowledgeable about cross contamination and the risks to those with celiac make this place a step above any other take out/dine in place. Yes, there is a risk, but compared to places that stare at you blankly and think slapping an udis bun on it makes it gluten free? I am willing to accept the risk.
