Review of Canadian Cakery

We stop here every time we are in Calgary for their cheesecake stuffed cookies. Truthfully, I’m generally not a major cookie fan and tend to prefer other baked goods. BUT these cookies are flavorful, unique, and consistently great every time. I can safely say this shop has converted me. My husband, who is not gf, says these gf cookies are even better than the non-gf cheesecake stuffed cookies at Crumbl Cookies. They have a decent selection of flavors - all amazing. I’ve also tried their chocolate cake which had a rich, soft (but also somehow nicely dense so it didn’t crumble and fall apart everywhere) base and a thick and creamy icing. The staff are always incredibly friendly with excellent service.

I also want to add that it’s so nice to find a gf bakery that doesn’t rely solely on oat or almond flour, as I tend to struggle with these along with my wheat allergy. Highly recommend stopping by if you are near the Avenida Food Hall!
