This is my go-to place in the area for a celiac safe dinner! I always get the Tide House burger with a side salad. I’ve had it multiple time and I’ve never gotten the slightest bit sick. I’ll be back many times!

It’s hard to know how to rate Canal Park- they pay attention to customers who need to eat GF, but don’t seem to do much to cater to their needs. They have GF buns and had a GF seltzer on tap, but their grill and fryer are not GF. So, if you are concerned about cross contact, there are very few options. Our server was not knowledgeable about what items contained gluten, but she sent the manager over who was a bit more knowledgeable and made sure the kitchen knew to pan fry the chicken for my salad, instead of grilling it. They are really short staffed, so understand that they don’t necessarily have a full team of experienced servers right now. The salad was pretty good but small for the price. I did not get sick. I don’t think I’d come back unless they improved their GF options.

They provide Gluten free buns and have 2 options of local ciders on tap. Knowledgable staff directed me with several gluten free options on the menu. Fries and chips are cross contaminated, but was offered replacement options.
The staff was well trained on celiac friendly items. Gluten free buns available.
