I got the pollo al griglia with gluten free pasta with garlic and olive oil. The server was happy to confirm with the kitchen that gf pasta is cooked in its own water and held separately. My food was served by a who announced my order as gluten free and there was a gfree flag for my pasta as well. I will return at a slower time to try the pizza. I have returned twice and had the spaghetti bolognese, which was good and more importantly, I had zero issues. Gluten free focaccia and marinara were excellent as well.
Worst experience I have had at a restaurant in any capacity in a long time. I will leave the wait time until the end of this review. Sat down about 1 pm for lunch after a 15 minute wait I finally got the chance to let the waitress know that I had Celiac disease and that I have to be gluten free, she spoke about the owner that had Celiac and that they were very careful. We ordered a gluten free pizza and gluten free focaccia. We orders our boys pizzas right when we ordered drinks. We got drinks 30 minutes in and only got the pizzas after I went inside to complain at 40 minutes. Finally,50 minutes after order my pizza shows up and it is not gluten free. I complained to the manager and our waitress proceeds to lie to him like we never had a conversation and says we didn’t ask for gluten free. The restaurant was not busy, the bathrooms were not clean, and the wait staff is not attentive to gluten free clients. Whoever the owner is that has Celiac disease I hope you see this because they are going to make people sick. Horrible dining experience and not a safe place to eat for Celiac folks. ZERO STARS!!!!
Yum yum! We love this restaurant! We do the take out GF pizza because it’s the only one we trust to not be cross contaminated. Dining in, the wait staff are knowledgeable and were able to inform us what was GF and what had sneaky gluten. They also have GF focaccia! The menu should be edited though. It says “all pastas can be made Gluten free” When what it really means is “we have GF vermicelli and can put most (but not all) sauces on it”. Still love the place!
A good restaurant. The pizza is good but on a premade flat crust. Crispy and delicious but it’s not on regular pizza dough. Bruschetta is great. Pasta dishes were fine. Greek salad was delicious.
Had gluten free pizza . Was really good. Was informed that whole menu except lasagna and calzones could be made GF
Owner might be celiac, but they're definitely not careful about cross contamination. We called ahead and decided to give it a try after they said all the right things. Once there, we asked all the questions again and waitress seemed knowledgeable. We had pizza and pasta after we were reassured those were completely safe. Both dishes had gluten. I'm happy we had our tester with us and neither me nor my kids got sick.
Great gluten free crust!! Delish home made sausage that we had as appetizer and on our gf pizza!! highly recommend!
They have my wife's favorite gluten free pizza and she has tried pretty much all of them. Also they supposedly have gluten free pasta but we have not tried it.
Great gluten free pizza. I've heard they get their crust from Gluten Free Houston.
