Canela Bistro & Wine Bar

This is the best gf restaurant experience I’ve had since I’ve been diagnosed with celiac. Didn’t get sick! The waiters clearly care about allergens and so does the kitchen staff. Gf items are clearly marked. I ordered these tapas for the table: -brussel sprouts & squash - bacon wrapped dates (for gf they bake the bacon instead of fry, ask your server) -gf flatbread (specify gf) - steak with vegetables (usually they are fried, I didn’t even need them but bc they knew my table was gf the chefs sautéed the veggies instead of frying without me asking!) My bf ordered one more dish (an empanada) which I could not eat, but he said it was delicious. I loved being able to share a meal with someone non-gf without any substitutions. The food was so fresh and delicious, there were so many options, and I’ll surely be back.

Amazing tapas, with gluten free options, gf flat bread for side as Wel as gf dessert. Safe and amazing quality.
