Recently taken a gf to canning river cafe (both of us coeliac) Even though there is notes on menu that nuts and gluten is present in the kitchen When communicating with the team of coeliac they a well informed and provided well presented and yummy food No reactions from both of us and left very happy

I ordered the Pork Banh Mi, it was ok came with a generous serving of chips $27.00 the Pork Banh Mi was smothered in sweet chilli sauce and really fatty pork would order there again but something else they were very quick for takeout

Canning River Cafe has done it again! A GF and DF Pork Belly Banh Mi and chips with a green smoothie.

This is my new fave thing ever!!! The roll was so crunchy and fresh, I didn't think it was GF, and the pork belly cooked to perfection and the sauce tasted amazing! Even the chips were perfectly crispy. The photo doesn't do it justice but was all I could do before I inhaled this amazing lunch! 😁 Hubby had the same and he didn't even realise it was GF 🤣

First time eating here we had the fish and chips which I haven't had now for 18months Chips nice and crunchy and fish was good will diffently go back. We didn't have to wait to long for our meal.

Great - eat here all the time, it’s our favourite. While family is GF and DF and never any issues. FYI - Fryer only has gf products placed in it. And battered fish and chips are so good.

I had the crispy honey soy chicken burger with fries and it was absolutely delicious. The gluten free bun was soft and tasty and the coating on the chicken was crispy and amazing.

They havea good selection of treats in the cabinet, but use the same deep fryer for gluten and gluten free foods making it unsafe for coeliacs
