Items are marked “gluten sensitive,” and can be made gluten free upon request. Chips are unfortunately made in a shared fryer with items that contain gluten. Our waitress offered to put some corn tortillas on the grill and cut them into wedges for our more sensitive table mate, which was very considerate. Some good options if you aren’t worried about cross contamination.

Fantastic spot for half off happy hour margaritas from 2-5. They have a few gluten free food options. Fantastic service and friendly bartender.

Delicious margaritas! Other options limited but what’s there is good. Be careful with the complimentary table snack they bring you when you are seated. It’s wheat puffs

I went to Canteen because I was having trouble finding restaurants in the area who still had their GF options. And here are the 2 big take aways:
Pro: the waitress was very careful to warn me about what was and was not safe for a person with Celiacs, even coming back to the table to correct herself at one point.
Con: there was almost nothing a person with Celiac Disease could eat.
The chips were fried with breaded foods, and bizarre things like their RICE I was told were prepared with wheat flour. They did offer corn tacos, but many of the filings weren't gluten free.
After being told I needed to place a different order 3 times (because what I ordered actually had gluten), I finally ordered the carnitas tacos. For $9.50, I was brought two of those mini street tacos with no sides. I don't eat a lot per meal, but that was an awfully small meal even for me. At least they were good.

I had a largely positive experience with Canteen. My waiter was really helpful, and even advised me against ordering certain menu items that were marked gs (for “gluten sensitivity”).
That is the one thing I’d call out. Even though some menu items say they’re gf (or gs) double check they don’t share a fryer with gluten products. My waiter was knowledgeable on celiac and helped me order the most safe things.
