This deli has been in the community for years. Family vibe. A bit dated from a decor and atmosphere stand point. They have a few gf bakery items which are noted on the menu. Food was just ok. Nothing amazing.

They had gluten free matza Brei on the menu and they really had it!! My daughter ate it all. So good. Also sandwiches..I had the stuffed cabbage which was scrumptious.

Very fresh food. Gluten free bagel was amazing. My server was extremely patient, thoughtful, and worked very hard to ensure my order was perfect.
I've tried this Deli twice in Pasadena, and I'm not sure why everyone loves it. I've been disappointed twice. Ordered a Rueben the first time, and the meat was too fatty. Never had soo much fat in corned beef. However, service was good so I gave it another try. today. I ordered the Hot Brisket Sandwich on Challah Bread and my wife ordered the Turkey Rueben on Sourdough. We ordered at atound 2pm and asked it to be delivered by 4pm.
When we received our order. it was wrong, they gave us the wrong bread for both sandwiches, and our fries and onion rings were soggy.
It was like they prepared it two hours before they delivered it to save time. Food cost too much to cut corners.
I would take my business elsewhere .
I also called to complain about our order, and they said they would look into it and call me back. No response.
No one knows anything. Spoke to jacquline canter herself and she had no idea how things could be made gluten free
excellent meal in this very retro jewish deli. they have gluten free bread and gluten free bagels. pastrami on gluten free bread was exceptional!
UN_educated wait staff. was not comfortable enough to eat here.
This historic and quintessential Los Angeles landmark now has GF bread, bagels, etc. and a knowledgeable and helpful wait staff. The hot pastrami sandwich is a classic!
