Had many options to choose from! Very knowledgeable about cross contamination. We had the tenderloin appetizer, I had the seafood risotto and fried the duck (both prepped with allergy protocols). Food was great and no reaction!

Had the scallops. Tasted great and no issues with cross contamination. Separate GF prep area and my food was brought out separately by server wearing gloves. Highly enjoyed, and was safe!!

Unfortunately, I found out too late that the gluten free markers on their menu are inaccurate. They initially told me items marked gluten free had no gluten ingredients but they could potentially alter other items to be gluten free. In order to try to be as safe as possible, I only ordered items already marked gluten free and went through my usual questions about cross-contact. I rarely order dessert, but since they had a Lavender-berry Panna Cotta that was marked gluten free, I ordered it. There is a thin crispy tuile in the dessert, which I thought were usually made with almonds not regular flour, so I unfortunately didn’t question it until I had taken a small bite (yes, I realize that was my mistake!). It turns out it was made with regular flour. So this makes me doubt the accuracy of the rest of their GF notations. The server was very apologetic and brought over the manager who apologized and advised they would discuss this aspect of their menu and make changes.

Decent gf offerings, but found myself underwhelmed with the food itself. If I'm going to spend this kind of $ I want more flavor! The Caesar salad was wonderful, but the sugar smack salmon was just ok. The creme brûlée and flourless chocolate cakes were also just ok. I think Lansing has other better options for this price range.

Lots of gf options that actually taste good. Everything was marked on the menu and the staff was knowledgable and helpful.

Found this place by accident looking for a good variety of gluten free foods as my daughter is highly allergic.Not only do they have a wide selection but the food is wonderful. Not to mention the place is a great place for a romantic meal. eat by the fire!! Ask for Skylar he is the most wonderful waiter!! Cant recommend this place highly enough. If you like shrimp try the capitol shrimp. Maybe the BEST shrimp I have every had!!! We had seven of us and we all enjoyed our meals. Stop and go there NOW!! LOL ENJOY!!!

Great gf options, appetizers, soup, salad, steaks, pastas, seafood, dessert, etc. Staff was knowledgable, regular menu items were marked "gf." Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. Will definitely go back!

Capital Prime is a romantic steakhouse that caters to people with gluten free and vegetarian diets. They shop locally so the food is fresh and Michigan made. They have private dining rooms, take out, and happy hour.
