If you can go to cappys harbor view you may have better luck. There is NO gluten free menu in the Chowder House. There was a server who was very knowledgeable about the menu luckily. Be careful of items that are fried as they use a shared fryer. The chowder is gluten free and tasty.

Unless you want GF pasta or a lobster dinner, you are out of luck. Staff is not very knowledgeable about GF.

They say they do gluten free...but 10 minutes after eating I knew I had been glutenized. Service was horrible, food overpriced.

What a fun atmosphere, and right in the thick of it all. Not too many GF options to chose from, for someone like me that doesn't care for any fish. However, the Cappy's House Salad I had for lunch was very good, due largely to the homemade dressing that is served with it.
