I have a gluten allergy and can't handle cross contamination. Do NOT recommend. They have limited gf options

Not able to handle celiac. Chef told waiters it’s impossible in their kitchen. Sensitive fine but no go on celiac.

On the plus side, the food was fantastic and the server took my celiac seriously. But the downside is that other than GF buns for burgers, not a lot of their menu that is GF. I got a salad with lobster salad on top and it was delicious. But considering how highly this place was rated, I expected more GF options. Neither the fried seafood and chowder they are famous for is GF. The menu is not labeled with GF items, so you have to ask your server about specific items you may be interested in. She was very busy, so I didn't want to keep her at our table for a long time to ask about several different things.

My wife has Celiacs and we have eaten here dozens of times as it is one of the safest experiences in Cape Cod. Get the Bourbon(not an ingredient)Steak Tips(never had an issue). Very receptive staff.

I shared a lobster roll and a turkey sandwich with my girlfriend (who’s not gluten free). Both were cooked perfectly! The server was really knowledgeable about celiac and gluten allergies and even made sure that when something on the turkey sandwich wasn’t confirmed gluten free it was off to the side but then informed me it was safe. The fries are gluten free but share a fryer so they put them on a separate plate. Wonderful service all around!

I had a Brie and bacon jam burger with a side salad and it was amazing, pretty good gf bun. Very knowledgeable about celiacs

Completely not knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and what options on the menu could be gluten free. When asked if the lobster salad to be put in a gf roll was safe (since it wasn’t marked on the menu as gf) they said “wellll it’s made with mayo and celery.” When asked if their kitchen would be safe for a Celiac to eat there, the server had no idea what that meant and just repeated that there are certain things that they have listed as gluten free and that’s all he knew.
No
I have eaten here lots of times. I have never gotten sick. I have always gotten great service.
No dedicated grill space, but they made hamburgers for my kids on clean pans in the oven, and had great GF buns. Fries are not GF, but they had Cape Cod chips. Waitress was really nice and spoke with the chef to get answers to our questions. We sat outside, which was really nice.
Yes
GF menu baked into regular menu. Items marked if GF. The award winning clam chowder is NOT GF unfortunately. But they have several meals that are very good. I experienced no issues after eating.
