Super delicious! The waitress helped me figure out what was safe (no dedicated fryer, so no plantains, which is consistent with the labeling). Highly recommend the Los muchachos arepa, and the rice and beans appetizer was simple but filling and delicious. Overall, very affordable and felt very safe, with a fun vibe.

Great food, staff was really knowledgeable about cd and cross contamination. Just a warning that there’s no dedicated GF fryer so the plantains aren’t safe. Too bad :/

I mentioned celiac and the first thing the server asked was if I was okay with cross contamination (I said no). They patiently and thoroughly walked me through the menu and told me everything I could have—everything but the appetizers and friend plantains. Great food, drinks, and service!

I’ve been to this place twice and will definitely be going again! Knowledgeable staff and delish arepas. No dedicated fryer (unfortunately) but still a bunch of good options. Also, arepas are quite filling so I wouldn’t even get an appetizer. Must try if you are in the area!!

Every server I've had here has been well-trained about gluten, and as soon as I mention celiac, they run through the entire menu with me. Appetizers (with the exception of the rice & beans) are off limits, but the salads are gluten free. Plantains are contaminated from the fryer, but you can leave them off. And when I do, the runners always confirm 'no plantain' when the bring the food. Pabellon Criollo without plaintains is awesome, and every arepa I've had has been good. Never gotten sick. I noticed a few reviews said they were slow, which I don't agree with. Just get a caipirinha and chill, people.

I've eaten here many times. The staff knows what Celiac disease and gluten is and watched out for me. Never gotten sick and I'm super sensitive. Don't eat anything in the fryer though - it's cross contaminated. 👍🏼

Knowledgeable staff; guided us to what celiacs could have (arepas, and many of the fillings tho not all); nothing friend since their fryer is shared.

Arepas were delicious and huge--when you order one you may think -- oh that's too small. Just wait -- it'll fill you up.

Nice little reataurant! Friendly knowledgeable staff and good service. Loads of gluten free options, and I felt totally comfortable eating here. My husband and I split 3 different arepas, and they were all really good! Would recommend.

Great arepas. Guy called me to tell me I can't have tajadas because they're fried in the same fryer (sadly). I've had like 4 different types of the arepas so far and they're all delicious and super flavorful .

Delicious arepas salad and no after effects. Our waitress said no fried plantains or shredded beef--everything else on the menu was gf, so at least she knows about contamination. Love those arepas!

Most of their menu items are gluten free apparently but be sure to mention it to staff and double check to help prevent with contamination. Otherwise, there arepas are very tasty and lots of options! They also have great lunch specials. You may have a long wait for the food but I've never been disappointed with the flavor.
