Delicious fajitas with incredible corn tortillas. Good service and the patio is very lovely for dinner. My kids loved the shrimp and chicken for fajitas. Waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten free.
They take pride in their food! No gluten free menu but they said anything with *** either is already gf or can be gluten. You can get dedicated chips but unfortunately not available this time. The mole is gluten free, it wasn’t the best I’ve had but I enjoyed and was a treat since it’s so rare to have. I got duck tacos as recommended by waiter, it was good but I wish I got the enchiladas. They also have some gluten free desserts as my husband said the rice and beans were the favorite part of his meal.
The best non-dedicated GF restaurant experience I have ever had. The chef came to our table and offered to prepare my meal if it would make me feel better. GF items are designated on the menu. The flavor combinations of the dishes were unique and delicious. I would definitely eat here again.
We would definitely go back here when in town. It is expensive. Waitress was super knowledgeable and helpful. Had Queso fundido (they fried the chips separate for us), steak (delish), chicken enchiladas with mole (so good), and a chocolate chili cake. Felt safe eating here and would recommend.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating! There were also many gluten-free options (marked by a double asterisk on the menu). We ordered the elote and chips and guacamole to start, and both were amazing! The fajita was also excellent, and the corn tortillas didn’t fall apart. I ordered mine with chicken. Didn’t get sick afterward either, so we’ll be back!
Absolutely fantastic food! I’m Celiac and DF and my daughter has a wheat allergy at the top of the charts. The manager came by our table and explained the menu to us. GF items marked on the menu. We told her of our needs, and she had a batch of tortilla chips fried in a dedicated vat to go with our table-side guacamole which was so delicious! Corn tortillas homemade. I ordered the sea bass with coconut lime cilantro rice and asparagus. It was amazingly delicious! My husband, who has no restrictions, ate the Chile En Nogado and loved it. If we’re ever in Santa Fe again, we will eat here again! A true Santa Fe gem!
We came back and we’re not disappointed! I had the gf modified quesadillas and hubs had carne asada (idk if gf).
What a gem! You have to walk thru the quaint and cozy outdoor seating area to enter the restaurant where you’re greeted by both the owner/chef and the most aromatic embrace from their scratch made kitchen!
The gluten free options are clearly marked (**) with plenty of options for every palate. The elote was next level! We also had the black bean taquitos are an appetizer which were delish! Hubs and I split the signature dish - Chile en Nogado - what a treat! Teen son had the chicken chimichanga! It was enormous! We topped it off the flan - it looked so good I didn’t think to take a pic!
I ordered enchiladas and loved the many GF options available on the menu. The red chili enchilada sauce was the best I’ve tasted! I had the coconut flan for dessert and it was amazing. The owners were very welcoming and helpful with my order. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Delicious food!! Be prepared for some good New Mexican spice. Be sure to bring your appetite because the food food portions are as generous as they are flavorful!!
We let our waitress know I have celiac at the beginning of ordering. Felt comfortable with her response that they have a separate part of kitchen and frier for gluten free! We were able to talk with the chef and his gift & love of cooking shines through his ✨fresh✨FLAVORFUL food!! 😋Margaritas are made with fresh organic ingredients as well.
Highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed.
wonderful family owned restaurant, husband and wife team in latest incarnation. Aware of gf, menu now has 2 stars and co-owner (wife) was available to guide thru specials. Mole sauce is amazing!
