The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms very comfortable, especially after being out all day at Machu Picchu. The dinner was a set 4-course meal with several options for each course. The server was very attentive and verified with the chef which items I could and could not have, and it was a delicious, five star type of meal. I was catching the first train out the next morning, and the chef even made a note that I would need a special breakfast prepared the next morning - 30 minutes before the restaurant officially opened. Sure enough, the chef was there early and made me a delicious omelet and noted which items on the buffet I could safely eat. Success! (And I'm very reactive.)
