Practically all the menu can be made gluten free. The food was lovely and we enjoyed our evening. Although don’t arrive early! We arrived 3 minutes early for our 7.00pm booking and were asked to come back when they opened (the door was open and it looked open).
After going on a wine tour, we asked our tour guide if they knew any gluten free dinner options. Unexpectedly, he shared that his girlfriend had celiac disease and that this was one of their favorite restaurants.
The restaurant style is farm to table with seasonal produce and local proteins. We made a reservation online with gluten free/celiac dietary needs explained and hoped for the best.
When we got there, we were greeted warmly and the staff apologized because they were unfortunately out of their gluten free bread that they typically serve. They explained that about 95% of their menu was gluten free and that they take precautions when preparing meals for gluten free and allergen diners.
Y’all…this meal was incredible. Fresh ingredients and twists on classic French dishes. My mom got the Parmentier and I got the daily special Sole! We split an appetizer and a dessert.
There are also tapas and large plate options. I also enjoyed a glass of wine and we visited at the beginning of October 2023 when it was unseasonably warm and enjoyed our meal on the terrace.
Great experience and the server was kind enough to let me practice my French with him but also spoke English with my non-French speaking mom. Truly one of my favorite meals in France. Merci beaucoup!
