Casbah Cafe

Delicious healthy choices. Very knowledgeable and friendly owner. Beautifully decorated restaurant. My husband ( meat eater), my 18 year old vegetarian son, my myself ( celiac disease) were all very happy we went to the Casbah Cafe.

The food was bland and the vegetables were greasy. I was sick the next day.

I am really sensitive to gluten, first of all but this restaurant far exceeded my expectations. The owner Benjamin, I believe, came to our table and introduced himself, reviewed my order and personally guaranteed my safety. He asked me my name and mentioned he keeps a list of gluten sensitive folks so he can "always take care of them." He explained that they keep utensils and pots and pans separate AND labeled to keep everyone informed in the kitchen. He truly understands the importance of avoiding cross contamination! All this AND the food was awesome! Thank you, Benjamin for taking care of me and for your concern for the gluten sensitive community! *Note: the fries are gluten free themselves but are fried with falafel that contain whole wheat*

Love this place - the owner is knowledgable and if your waitperson isn't, ask for the boss. The food is good! I've tried several things and I have liked them all. You can pretty much eat or adapt every item except for those using phyllo. They bring you cucumbers instead of pita with hummus. It's not the speediest place but it is fresh and delicious and SUPER safe.

Very nice atmosphere especially sitting outside on the patio underneath umbrellas. Pet friendly, good service, good food.

Awesome, quick, fresh, tasty, healthy but delicious and very friendly....we love it, go weekly a it's very affordable, substantial lunches and dinners @ $7.95-13.95 . Upscale small bistro type Mediterranean Cafe that is great for a family outing, quick meal out our even a cozy date, they also have belly dancers some evenings.
