Let me preface by saying I love casita! The people who work there are lovely but I’ve had multiple instances of misunderstandings about what is gf to come back and get the same thing and be given different answers as to whether it has gluten. There are definitely things on the menu just be careful and make sure to ask thorough questions!

Our waiter was fairly knowledgeable about what would be safe for me to eat, but he also double checked w the chef and suggested modifications. They made my plantains separately, so they wouldn’t be contaminated. I had the shrimp entree that was simply sautéed w olive oil and garlic, with extra salad instead of rice and beans. It was delicious!
