My husband and I went here for our 21st anniversary dinner. Our server Aiden went above and beyond to ensure our meals and drinks were handled safely and properly. He even came out to take our appetizer back to the kitchen to make sure it was handled with fresh gloves and all the proper precautions were taken. The meal was out of this world.
The GF menu was a little lacking but the food was good. They had two additional diners that were not on their menu but were on last years. We had to ask, but they did offer shrimp and grits and also crab bites that were bonded using a salmon mixture, not breadcrumbs. We got the grits. The server was friendly and answered out GF questions and asked the chef when he didn’t know the answers.
This may became my favorite go to place. They had so many GF options for around this area. And the bartender “Mike”….young one….knew all about it… he has family with Celiac….he told me he would go down and make sure there was no cross catamination…..they have numerous GF options……so I have lots of options…..as to ordering the same thing in many other places.
They have a gluten free menu with options for appetizers, salad and entrees. When I called ahead the chef actually got on the phone to talk through options. Server was also excellent in noting the allergy and being aware of what would be changed in what I ordered, if anything. Dessert is only ice cream, but it was yummy!
