I have never gotten glutened here which is awesome and almost everything is gluten free. However, be warned. Before I went here the first time I emailed the establishment to ask about cross contamination. The manager was nice enough to warn me that the chicken and spicy lamb meatballs are cooked on the same grill as the grilled meatballs which at the time contained pita. This was in 2019 and it looks like the menu has updated since then so the chicken might be safe now.
Awesome experience. When I told the first person about gluten, he immediately stepped back from the line and started to wash his hands and change gloves. When I asked about protocols (like other people down the line), he said “I’ll be with you through to the end.” He just informed everyone he was handling my food and was super great about everything.
Interesting Mediterranean food as well! Plenty of GF options. I could go there many times and get something that tastes vastly different on each trip (unlike some other fast casual places like Chipotle). I ordered a bowl with chicken as the protein. Looking foreword to my next trip. Good choice!
As upgraded fast food, this place is excellent for those with celiac disease. Granted I went in during a slower time, but I ended up with 3 employees in the end pitching in to find me something that was both gluten free and that I could enjoy and tolerate the spice level. The employees were fabulous, the food tasty and nutritious. There are so many more choices that I haven’t tried yet, and would like to go back and try next time. I’m 3 days out from eating here and didn’t get sick either. FYI, even the lamb meatballs are naturally gfree.
This is a reliable place for a satisfying, tasty meal. If you let them know you need gluten-free, they are great about changing gloves and making sure to keep you safe from cc. I’ve had them pull toppings out of the fridge to make sure I don’t get my feta with pita crumbles in it. It’s really easy to avoid gluten here.
