We ate here while visiting Biltmore’s Antler Hill Village and were pleasantly surprised by their gf menu. My extremely sensitive husband had the shepherd’s pie and experienced no problems. He said it was savory and very tasty. Also had a Redbridge gf beer and some of my salt and pepper fries which are fried in a gf fryer. Excellent service and knowledgeable staff.

This place was great for those visiting the Biltmore estate and are Celiac. I talked to the hostess (who was a nutritionist) and she assured me that there is a separate fryer for the chips/fries. The burgers come with a GF bun. There is also GF beer! I ate here with no issues.

Cedric’s Tavern offered the best gf options of the restaurant choices. We tried the fish chowder (was not a fan) and I had the shepherd’s pie which was good. My husband (not gf) had the barley bowl and he said it was really good! Our waiter offered good service but was not overly personable. He didn’t seem to know much about celiac/gf other than what the menu specified. We thought it was a little pricey for the value but if you want to eat on the grounds probably the best option.

Chef visited our table about my daughter’s GF/ DF allergy and was super accommodating.
I ordered the chicken sandwich off of the GF menu and it was pretty boring and bland. It said it came with chips but it came out with mashed potatoes 🤣. I appreciate that they didn’t send out cross contaminated fried chips. My daughter ordered the salmon and the chef made her special green beans and carrots instead of the original sides. She said hers was really good. I regret not ordering the salmon myself.
All in all, for the price it was a very boring and unexciting meal. Based on past reviews I thought more would be available on the GF menu. The service by our waiter was okay. I was disappointed that he didn’t clarify or ask us questions. Like: instead of chips what side would you like, etc.

From past reviews I’ve always avoided this one restaurant on property but latest reviews showed they changed their practices. They have!!! Server was very knowledgeable and said as soon as I said allergy, he reports to kitchen manager and protocols go in place. Had the steak with caramelized onions and tomatoes with steak fries. Everything was amazing and I had no reaction at all. I am severe celiac and dairy free.

Server was very knowledgeable & brought out gf bread tray. Menu clearly labeled.

My husband and I ate at Cedric’s Tavern, the Village Social, and the Stable Cafe during our Biltmore visit. All restaurants had a separate gluten free menu. The staff were very knowledgeable on gluten free items and substitutions. At Cedric Tavern, our waitress even brought us out some delicious homemade pickles in lieu of the traditional bread before the meal. And at the Village Social, our waitress brought us some yummy gluten-free chocolate truffles and berries for dessert, complementary! The entire treatment by all Biltmore restaurant staff was superb!

Great meal! Very safe, staff knowledgeable about celiac. No reactions. Had the GF raspberry lime mousse cake for dessert. Delicious!

We love the Carolina burger here and the garlic potatoes are amazing!! They do have a seasonal vegetable you can get if you prefer. The seasonal vegetable today was a zucchini stew melody which was delicious. The service team and chefs are so attentive here. It is nice to know that they take great care of their customers.

We had a lovely dinner with good food and great service. The waiter addressed my questions and concerns and I had the deviled eggs for an appetizer and the halibut for my main course. Did not make me sick
very good! gluten free menu and I did not get sick!

My husband and I stopped in twice during our 2-day visit to the Biltmore. Enjoyed the GF beer (although would've preferred Glutenberg) and really really enjoyed the bacon beer nuts and hummus plate, both dishes GF and DF. The waiters and the host were very helpful too.
Great food served in a wonderful atmosphere. We ate outside while listening to live music. There was also live music inside, but something about eating outside is special!! I thought it a little strange that they served pickles with the bread, but WOW! Were they ever great pickles!!! And I don't even like pickles! Menu was clear, waiter was knowledgeable, food tasted great. Only drawback is that you have to purchase admission to Biltmore to eat at any of their restaurants. That was OK for us since we were visiting for a day. If I lived anywhere near the area I would purchase the annual membership just to be able to eat there whenever we could!

Food was great! Gluten free bread too!
