It’s an amazing grocery store to walk in and know I can eat literally everything. I unfortunately went too late in the day though and a lot of their in house items were already sold out for the day, so I would recommend going earlier in the day since I got there I think around 1:30 and the freshly baked options were quite limited
I want to live here. Amazing pizza and suppli, and the woman was so kind she gave me a cream puff for free. The prices were cheap (not even just for gf standards). The selection of the actual grocery store is amazing, from fresh pasta to frozen ice cream sandwiches. Walking the aisles was an experience in itself. So happy I found.
I think this is haven 😀 I love this place! All the good stuff is here! When I am in Rome I always come here first! The donut is the best but the croissant with salmon is my other favourite. And it’s not expensive at all! You can buy snacks, pizza, pasta, salty and sweet stuffs, whatever you want!
Great place in Rome if you live here or are here on vacation. Many types of pastas, breads, ingredients to bake and a lot more. There is also fresh pastries and pizza al taglio. Having lived in Rome, I would say the prices of more common items can be higher here than the grocery store so perhaps focus on the things you don’t find elsewhere.
Love this gluten-free grocery store! Great place to stock up on snacks and food to take back home, plus they have a full takeout counter with tons of sweet and savory goodies. Their pizza and fried potato croquettes were so so good, I would have ordered more if I’d known how yummy they would be. I didn’t like my sandwich personally, and was bored by the fried donut, but that’s personal preference. I’ll happily return next time I visit.
Pro tip: ask them to heat up anything you want to be warm.
Awesome fully gluten-free store here for us Celiacs and gluten intolerant! Very close to the place we stayed which made it convenient for us while on vacation!Crazy to see places like this in Italy, wish this type of stuff was more common in the US. Will hopefully be back someday!
100/10! Ignore the haters below. As a someone that’s traveled the world trying gluten free bakeries from France to US, this is up there as top 2 best gluten free locations hands down. Important to know that while you’re standing at the counter they are CONSTANTLY bringing out hot and fresh pizza or pastries if you’re willing to wait 10-20minutes. We had double stacked pizza, ham and cheese calzone, caprese sandwhich, focaccia salami sandwhich and a variety of pastries. They were all incredible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This dedicated gluten free grocery store was a real boon during my time in Rome. The store has lots of products and also a pastry and hot food counter. It was perfect to grab a slice of pizza or supplì as a snack in the afternoon. I also bought some pastries the day before for an early morning breakfast. Staff was always helpful and willing to speak in English, too.
This place is amazing. I had a takeaway pastry filled with fresh salmon and a little pistachio cream puff. The texture of the pastry (like a pain au chocolate except savory, split down the middle with salmon and arugula) was incredible. Not to mention the grocery section has things I’ve never even dreamed of—pasta shapes I’ve never seen GF, filo dough, etc. We are traveling light but I seriously considered shipping a box home so I could try more things.
Incredible store where Everything is GF!! They also have a fresh food counter with carryout sandwiches . Pastries, frites, sweets. I got shelf stable fresh pastries that I brought home. Delicious! Why don't we have a store like this in the states?! My friend says it translates roughly, Ceiliacs are Us. : )
You can find a large selection of gluten free products. Special fresh pastries, pizza and bread! Mu celiac 7 yo daughter loves this place
Gluten free paradise! It took me a minute to process I could buy absolutely anything!! I wish I could have bought one of everything but there was only so much room in my suitcase! This location is close to the Vatican (if you have a tour booked, it’s a good spot to stop afterwards) they do have a fresh bakery counter but it was closed when we went!
Great grocery selection. I’m from the US (California - LA area) and genuinely there is no gluten free grocery store like this where I live. It’s like a wonderland. I wished I could’ve bought way more but I had very limited room in my suitcase. Their bakery cookies are also really good. I’m only knocking a star for their homemade bread. It was pretty disappointing. I tried the rolls and the focaccia and both were quite dry and pretty tasteless.
Great Roman style pizza and other goodies- try the suppli! Also has a grocery store of packaged gluten free products that has nearly anything you can imagine.
