Celina's Mulberry Market & Grille

I went based on reviews, but not a great experience. The person who sat us had no idea what gluten free even was. The server was not very educated either. They have different gluten free breads, but if it’s definitely not celiac safe. I asked what kind of chips came with the sandwich and she said don’t know just regular chips.

I got cross contaminated here. The reviews made it seem very safe but upon arriving I learned that my waitress was not very knowledgeable and that they didn’t have anything on the menu noting gluten free options, just that they had gluten free bread and wraps. Even after asking specifically how things were cooked and explaining that I have a gluten allergy, I was still served pork roll that was cooked on a grill directly. I shouldn’t have eaten it when I saw the grill marks but I assumed it would be safe since I had already explained why I couldn’t eat anything that was cooked on the same surface as gluten. I immediately was sick and almost threw up in the bathroom. I was sick and bloated for a couple days.

A super cute place with freshly made food. I got the chicken and veggie quesadilla that was really flavorful, I also got a chai latte with oatmilk. My nongf husband got the crabcake sandwich and wasn’t a fan, it was basically all filler but he enjoyed the crab bisque. While we were there 2 other tables came in and order gluten free so its definitely a safe spot!

I love getting quesadillas on gluten free wraps, I love the Peanut Butter Explosion gluten free dessert, and the usually have gluten free items marked on their daily specials. Fries aren’t made in separate fryer, so I always get a side salad instead of fries with my lunch items
