Pretty terrible for allergies. Pretty much stick with a salad so not great for kids. If you're meeting others just pick up tacos across the street at taco shack (allergy friendly) and way them at the central market playground.

Staff was not knowledgeable. I found one guy who knew that they didn’t have a gluten free menu but could “leave off bread” didn’t have gluten free options and it’s a freaking grocery store that specializes in special things. So disappointed.

The Cafe and Central Market is a great for kids. The cafe has a GF menu, but they keep it at the registers so I didn't have much time to decide. Went with the Cobb Salad and it was good. Ask a cashier for the GF menu before you get in line.

I am in town for two weeks, staying at a local hotel with a kitchenette, so I came here to stock up on groceries. I was hungry for something quick that evening. While there weren’t a TON of gluten free options in the deli, I chose pre-packed roasted Brussels sprouts and a piece of salmon from the deli. Both were delicious and didn’t make me sick!! Good gf grocery options!

The packaged food for gluten free is extensive, vast, and amazing. The cafe or marketplace however is a nightmare to navigate. The salad bar was the only thing i felt comfortable having for lunch and even then, I was worried with cross contamination. Grocery shop there only, and you’ll love it.

I am writing after my second glutening from this place. Products that are prepared in store are poorly labeled and often missing essential information. They have many items labeled “low gluten” whatever that means but as a Celiac, I’m recommending you go to their gluten free food sections and choose from there. Nothing prepared in this place in gluten free! The two items that made me sick... soup from their salad bar that did not state it contained wheat or gluten (some of them clearly state which made me think it would labeled if it contained gluten) and the rotisserie chicken - which the label listed spices used and lemon juice. If you want rotisserie that safe stick with Sam’s Club or Costco.

Love this place. They have a whole aisle for gluten free items (aisle 9, along one side) and if you ask a Foodie about gluten free items they will be able to help you out. There's also gluten free cupcakes and cake (not in the bakery). I don't even try to eat anything out of the Chef's Case because it's contaminated. It sure looks good though!

You would think you would be able to grab a sushi roll, or salad without wheat, but that's not the case. It's almost impossible to find easy grab items for a snack or lunch. People are super careless with the salad bar and the ingredients aren't listed for the dressings.

I was told by several cashiers at Central Market Café that if I have Celiac I should eat nothing there - not even the salad!!

Yes, there are gf grocery items in the store, but very little in the restaurant. I had to make do with a smoothie while the non gf people with me got to eat actual food.

Lots of gluten free grocery items. Great selection of bulk GF flours and well labeled so things are easy to find.

They have a decent grocery selection of GF items here including frozen stuff that is hard to find. They have a large bakery and prepared foods section in which nothing is safe to eat for a Celiac. They have a line of "Low Gluten Diet" Items that are NOT SAFE FOR CELIACS, they basically take GF mixes and make them in a regular bakery so they are very contaminated. Saddens me to see the GF diet not taken seriously, but they do have some grocery items that are beneficial, and very nice meat and produce. Lastly, they are pricey here, so not for a budget shopper.

I get by here, but all their gf stuff has icky gums in it. I say NO to gummy tummy!

Very weak selection of GF groceries compared to several other stores in area. Staff uninformed about safety of prepared foods, no GF in the cafe. Not a GF winner at all!

They may have gluten free groceries, but the cafe offers no gluten free menu. I asked and the girl behind the register said no and couldn't offer any suggestions either.

I like Central Market for buying groceries, but their cafe is lacking! We ate there today and when i asked if their fries were battered the girl told me she didn't know because they come frozen. No offer to find out. I thought this place is suppose to be gourmet, yet the food is sub-par and they serve frozen fries!!! The only yummy thing on the menu is pizza, too bad it's not gluten free.
