Inferences were made here on the site when we were looking under Gluten Free Features listing for C'est La Vie Bistro that there were Gluten Free Crepes, and pancakes (yay!), when actually there was not (boo). They are made from Buck Wheat which they could not guarantee would be safe for sensitive Celiac afflicted people. Home fries and some other side items such as meats, and sweet potato pancakes (not always available) also could not be guaranteed because of cross contamination (no dedicated grill or area of the grill). They did offer homemade beignets (light dough puffs) plate made with herb infused tapioca flour (that made them a bit somewhat over chewy and rubbery - just being honest YMMV) and sides of date spread and fresh pear. Omelettes & Eggs were offered as safe alternatives again with possibility of cross contamination (we'll see I'm one hour out after having two eggs over easy). Other than that the surroundings were quaint, the staff polite and hospitable. It's just C'est La Vie Bistro does not really seem to guarantee to be offer to be a safe or environment place (right now) if your sensitive at all to gluten exposure and don't want to take a chance because of the strong reference or heads up they give you as to cross contamination.
