Fryers are dedicated gluten free - fried chicken and fries are so good! Never had any problems here. Things aren’t well labelled but the servers are happy to tell you everything you need to know.

It's not clear online, but their whole menu can be done GF except the spice krispies and the dessert! Nothing glutinous goes in their fryers.

Bonus - one of the local beers they have available ( on North St from Unfiltered) is gluten reduced (<20 ppm).

Lived up to my expectations! Along with a bunch of cider options, the server was very helpful and explained that almost anything on the food menu could be made safely for me (except like two specific things and the desserts I think), and also that no gluten goes in their fryer. I would definitely like to go back and try more!

Thoroughly enjoyed my first time here. So many cider options and practically the entire menu right now is gluten free without modifications. Dedicated fryer. My husband and I split nachos with fried chicken and cheesy fries. We will be back to try the fried chicken meal.

Chainyard really goes above and beyond for gluten free! I had no hesitation here. The server was extremely knowledgeable—I said the word celiac and he assured me there was a dedicated fryer right away and that almost the entire menu can be made gluten free. Even their deep fried stuff is battered with a gluten free flour! If you’re gluten free in Halifax, this will place is a must. Beyond safe and absolutely delicious… and I mean cider too! 😉
