I’ve been struggling in Cambodia as a Coeliac... BUT I stumbled upon this GEM. Another restaurant kindly directed me to Chamkar House and Chamkar cafe, citing that the owner ‘knows all about allergies’. Oh boy - I’m eating here every night. The owner is French and knows all about gluten, nuts, soy etc. He goes through every ingredient of the dish to make sure it’s safe for you. I am super sensitive to even a crumb and I’m in restaurant heaven! The food is amazing but you need to speak directly to Nicolas. The Cambodian wait staff don’t quite ‘get it’. Nicolas own both Chamkar House and Chamkar Cafe but he is mostly at Chamkar House.
