My daughter is 5 and has celiacs. We ate here as a family in fall of 2019. It was amazing and my daughter was fine. We went back a few months later and the food was terrible. They brought my daughter regular pasta. I thought it looked odd for GF, so I tested it first. She didn't have any of the pasta. They brought her a new bowl of GF pasta, but several hours later, she was VERY sick. We went for dinner so we know it was the restaurant food that made her ill, but we dont know exactly what it was there that made her sick.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY. NOT GOOD. We are avid food lovers. Something happened from the first time we went. It was amazing and so fin for our kid to be able to enjoy fries and cheese curds. What a shame.

This is one of the best gluten-free restaurants we have in Dane County. Celiac or not the cheese curds are to die for! I would recommend sticking with the "gluten-free as made" items verse ordering a glutinous menu item and swapping out for a gluten-free pasta or bread. The menu changes 3-4 times a year. The downside to this restaurant is the menu items that are most often swapped out are the vegetarian and gluten-free items. If you're seeking a specific item and you're not the type to willingly try something new, you may want to call ahead to see if they still have it. The online menu rarely is the current menu. This can be frustrating because it's hard enough to find dedicated gluten-free restaurants in and around the Madison area. That being said the environment is fun. The staff is always pleasant. There is a speakeasy downstairs with a unique take on drink ordering.

Amazing food and they have a happy hr where you can get gf curds and gf fries for 2 dollars each from 4-6 pm M-F

Cheese curds! And a gluten free chocolate cake that is to die for (I didn’t see it on the menu but had been told about it before- just ask). This place is GREAT!

This restaurant was definitely voted “Best of Madison” and “Best Chef” for a reason...everything on the menu is gluten free it can be made gluten free. I started with gluten free fried cheese curds. They were $8 and came in a large basket. Probably didn’t need to order an entire but I caved into peer pressure...definitely was not disappointed with the Wisconsin Bacon Mac n Cheese (in the shape of Wisconsin too). Huge portion and great flavors!! For dessert I had the cheesecake with raspberry and bourbon flavor. The cream was very soft and moist and the crust had the perfect cinnamon crunch combination. I also had a local Wisconsin gluten free beer. Service was outstanding too!! Going to have to make another trip from Iowa to Wisconsin soon!!

Best GF place I've ever eaten! And the fact that the owner/chef doesnt believe that someone should have to pay an upcharge just because they can't eat gluten, makes it extra awesome. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could!

One of the only places I am truly confident that I will get a non-contaminated gf meal. Cheese curds, French fries, burgers, and just about everything on the menu can be gf. Owner Dave and staff are knowledgeable and passionate about providing great food to everyone.

So excited to try this restaurant and all the gf menu items. I let the server know I was excited to try the GF menu and the server said he knew nothing about the GF menu...ok I'll ask for a manager. She was more knowledgeable but not enough to feel comfortable eating there. When our cheese curds arrived we asked if the dipping sauce was gf and the server rolled his eyes and said I'll check. We ended up canceling are diner order. Darn it I wanted to love it.

Gave up the "Friday night fish fry" when I went gluten free five years ago. Last night I ordered the gluten free fried fish (and wasn't even Friday) and it was awesome! Will be going back to try a GF focaccia bread sandwich next time.

Absolutely amazing! Every item On the menu could be made GF! And it was delicious! I got the cheese curds and fish fry and couldn't have been happier with my decision! Although I will be back to try the other items. Please note, they are open late than it states Friday and Saturdays. Plus there is a pretty cool "speakeasy" in the basement that is a must see.

They are able to make almost everything on the menu gluten free. Their fryers are completely gluten free. You can get gf cheese curds. The food and desserts are fabulous.
