The menu has GF items marked. The wings were all listed as GF except one flavor of sauce. I asked the server last night if they were fried in a separate oil or together with other things like fried shrimp or onion rings. She looked at me like I had 3 heads. She said the cook would know and they have a fancy button to push when they put in an order to alert gluten sensitivity/celiac. I asked her to please check and told her I can’t eat anything that could also be cross contaminated. I also ordered them and said “If you can confirm they aren’t in same oil”. She brought our orders out and didn’t say she had checked with the kitchen. She also never checked on us after bringing our food. We had to flag down another server to get our check.
On our walk back to our AirBnB, I didn’t feel great. I was hoping it was just the feeling of eating something fried since I don’t eat fried things much at all anymore. A few hours later, my stomach was still hurting and I had leg cramps. 28+ hours later and I am still in pain and extremely bloated and nauseous. Definitely got glutened there. I’d made all my meals at home several days before that.
Diner beware!

I had a burger on gf bun and side salad. The waitress was very helpful, and was confident I would be good. They do not have a safe fryer for fries, but the burger was amazing and I had no issues. She understood what a celiac was and explained their process. Very good food and fun atmosphere!
