I love this hotel and it was my first time travelling as a gluten intolerant. And I had to say it did not dissapoint! I had most of my meals there , the servers will go above and beyond♥and the food is delicious
The Chatrium is not only a great hotel, their main restaurant - The River Barge - has staff that have worked tirelessly for 8 days to keep gluten out of our food. This is EXTREMELY difficult in Thailand. Sauces are the bane of our existence in this country, and we have eaten nearly all of our meals at the Chatrium...very unlike us.
Not only do they bring us GF bread for every meal, we have had delicious salmon, steak, Massaman curry, pad Thai, some Thai soup, club sandwiches, fresh fruit, mango sticky rice, grilled chicken, streamed rice and vegetables. This has all been very carefully supervised and checked by the wait staff, managers, and chefs.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The service is excellent, and they will check and verify everything multiple times to make sure it's safe.
