This has always been a rock solid option for me as a celiac when traveling through Chattanooga, which I do often. I am very clear to the people on the phone that I have an allergy and the box usually comes marked with that, and the pizza has never bothered me. I bet I’ve had at least 8 pizzas from this place since discovering it last spring.

This past Sunday I called to order ahead, was very very clear with the person on the phone that it was an allergy (and they repeated this back in my order). I got the pizza, after waiting in line behind some very slow deliberating customers. After I had ordered and paid and tipped I asked for a cup for water, the lady at the counter said it was 55 cents. I said okay, sure, but she made no attempt to ring me up.

Ate some pizza, felt sick.

A day later I look at the label and it says “customer has gluten sensitivity” NO, I HAVE AN ALLERGY. I am enraged that a business I had come to trust would make such a blatant error, especially after I clarified twice, and the woman on the phone repeated back to me that it was an allergy.

Throwing out the rest of my pizza and never coming back
