Totally separate prep area for gluten free grilled cheese. Very friendly staff that made me feel safe and comfortable. I like the ambiance a lot. The grilled cheese was good!

They have gluten free bread that you can have with anything. I got their basic grilled cheese and it was great. It also came with chips that were safe! They also had vegan options available but I did not try them

I got a Vermonter grilled cheese and tomato soup and it was lovely. They have splindrift to drink. Great place.

We meant to go to the Portland location but our plans changed, so when we were passing through Portsmouth I was so excited to get a second chance. I got the Vermonter as I love a basic, grilled cheese. It was delicious! It did take a little longer to come out (which they told us) but that was because they were taking extra precautions for my friend and I (both with celiac). The only other time I’ve had grilled cheese in the last decade is at home, so this was a special treat! My friend said she’s safely eaten from their truck at festivals, so clearly they take gf seriously in all locations.
