This was REALLY AWESOME PIZZA for gluten free!!! It was only $12.99 for an Xl Thry must hv reduced. Their prices since these are the reviews are not correct for 20 bucks as a price pretty cheap!! The front counter girl was really sweet too, she brought my food out to the table! I deafly found my new spot for gluten-free they also have desserts that are gluten-free as well!!
Best gluten free pizza in Maryland by far!!!
Thx Cheezys for expanding your menu to serve us celiac's!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
this place is way too over priced and not even that good. also the service is poor
Travelers beware - gf pizza is just ok and way over priced.
I love Cheezy's. I first started eating their food before I found out I was a Celiac. When I discovered they had gluten free food and I could still eat at my favorite pizza spot, I was thrilled! All the people who work there are extremely nice and accomodating. The owner set up gf options long before it was trendy because his daughter had a friend who was a celiac. He felt bad that he would feed all the other kids for birthday parties so he endevored to fix it. How lovely! They worked with the local celiac foundation to make it safe. I've never been sick and I love the food!
12" crust comes from Still Riding Pizza and is plenty big for two people to share. They have protocols in place to prevent cross contamination. Pizzas can get pricey with toppings (mine was $20) but they offer delivery which is a little luxury rarely found. Not the absolute best pizza in the world, but definitely better than some other chains I've had. Read my full review on my blog: http://www.eatingoutwithout.com/2014/09/cheezys-pizza-review.html
Let me start by saying I feel for the false advertising on their website and their claim of "Finally, gluten free pizza that tastes like the real thing!" and " We have developed a delicious, authentic, New York style pizza that is entirely gluten free."
So I ordered a gluten free extra cheese pizza and gluten free cinnamon bread sticks. Total price nearly $30. WOW, very expensive. But, for a gluten free pizza that tastes like the real thing, I was willing to pay.
The pizza crust was the same pizza crust you get anywhere you go. The very thin, tasteless and dense non-rising crust. And the bread sticks were the same thing cut up with some oily coating with cinnamon.
I was very disappointed and will never go back.
One point, I did not have a reaction.
The selection was awesome, so many choices. I ordered more than I could possibly eat not knowing the portion sizes were so generous. Hard to believe it tasted just as good the second day.
I will definitely go back anytime I am in town!
The gluten free jumbo lump crab cake was great! I'll definitely be back!
