A local favourite anyway, Chef Rob's Gourmet Café always go the extra mile to accommodate my gluten intolerance, so that makes it even more special.

They offer healthy alternatives to bread so you can enjoy their delicious house dips and appetisers, substitute key ingredients so you can have a full choice of dishes, and even make special off-menu orders whenever possible.

Chef Rob comes to your table before you order, so you can explain your dietary needs directly to the chef. He was knowledgeable about our needs, and explained which menu items we could eat. He also created a custom gluten free, dairy free dessert for us that was not on the menu.Because my husband and I have a number of food sensitivities, our server confirmed our needs with us several times. The food was incredibly delicious, and I felt confident that my dietary needs were well-understood.
