The menu has a decent amount of GF items, I am not super sensitive to cross contamination and I got SICK! One of the first times I was sick from a restaurant. Server brought out flour tortillas after I explained my allergy. Had to send them back. She seemed very inconvenienced. I will not be back
One of our favorites! Separate dedicated fryer for the gluten free chips, taco shells, etc. Ever since I discovered they can make the fried flautas gluten free, using a corn tortilla, this is what I usually order (with an enchilada, yum!). I was saddened one time we went because there was a sign on the door, “Our gluten free fryer is down.” But how AMAZING is that that they were considerate enough to let their gluten free customers know before they even went in! We didn’t go in that time (because their chips and salsa are a must!)—but that was SO appreciated!
They do not have a gf menu but when i asked the host he told us to tell the waiter. Then a couple of minutes after we sat (before the waiter came), the manager came over and went over the options (most of their meats are marinated in soy sauce, but they would cook just abt any meat,un-marinated, with salt and pepper). And then baked tortillas came! We forgot to ask abt enchiladas and while the waiter didn't know, he went back and asked (they could modify them). Overall, everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. And the flan is gf!!
They are knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination however unlike other locations of this franchise they do not have a dedicated gluten free fryer. So the chips and hard shell tacos are not okay if you have celiac. That was really disappointing.
Very friendly knowledgable staff and manager. Great fajitas and salsa. Fabulous food. Great prices.

Being gluten-free and dairy-free, it's hard for me to find a good spot. The manager came over and told me they would bake corn tortillas so there would be no cross-contamination, and he was kind enough to recommend several dishes. I got the fish tacos without the chipotle sauce (had dairy), with a side of black beans and mango salsa. It was to die for! So good and fresh. The salsa was amazing, as well.
Our waiter knew lots about gluten-free. Good evening.
I'm a recently diagnosed Celiac, and still not very trusting of restaurants but went to Chevy's for a work lunch. To my pleasant surprise, the had a separate GF menu. The food was pretty good and I'm happy to say I did not get sick 😉. It's such a relief when a restaurant has a dedicated menu but I will continue having trust issues regarding their preparation practices until I verify no "Glutenation" has occurred! 😉
