Chez Janou

We really enjoyed our lunch at Chez Janou. They had a separate menu listing meals with and without various allergens and I was able to pick out a lovely meal for myself and as well as a dessert- their famous mousse au chocolat! The food was very tasty and safe; I did not have any reaction.

Our coeliac son had the steak and beans. They let us know there was wheat in the potatoes and this was a better choice! Amazing for a 9 year old he loved the meal and devoured it!

Chez Janou the restaurant had very good food we asked for English allergy card but instead he did ask the chef which was and wasn’t and one of the options was a steak with a side of your pleasing I had mashed potato’s. We went on a Monday night at 10pm and were managed to be squeezed in to a corner but considering this was a Monday night if you are planing for the weekend I recommend a reservation. All together the food was very good and I felt good after. Waiter could also speak very good English.

Absolutely delicious food! We had a wonderful experience. They have an allergen card, that shows what allergen is in each dish. I had the steak and potatoes, as well as the prawns. I also tried the famous chocolate mousse! Felt great; no reactions; big portions!
