We let the waiter know we had a gluten allergy. My mom and I both ordered the gluten free pancakes with chocolate chips and they were amazing! I waited until a few days later to review and I didn't have any bad reaction and neither did my Mom.

We love all the Chicago Waffles locations! The food is excellent and we’ve never had any issues. Of course you should try the tender gf waffles with a great range of healthy to decadent toppings. Omelettes with twice baked potatoes are also excellent.

My friends Gluten free pancakes came out halfway cooked (raw batter all in center). No dairy free options for the gluten free pancakes / waffles so I could not order. I ordered the veggie skillet and noted a dairy allergy, but it was brought out with cheese on top. However, Service was great though with remaking food and it tastes great! They also do not let you replace gluten / dairy sides for something else at no cost due to an allergy. They also wore shirts that say “extra gluten because it’s delicious” 😂

Amazing waffles! They were accommodating and use rice flour for the GF waffles!

I had a waffle sandwich with scrambled eggs and bacon, and it was amazing and massive! Super fresh fruit cup on side, just awesome all around!

They have gluten free waffles, but it doesn’t apply to any waffles that have flavored batter. The chicken is breaded and likely not gluten free. Otherwise fantastic!

Accommodating and polite. Any version of their waffles or pancakes can be made GF. We had a basic waffle with lots of toppings and had no issues.

I didn’t get sick after eating the food, but the quality of it just felt very low. Especially for the price.

I got very sick after eating here. Ordered a cheese omelet with roasted potatoes and gluten free pancakes. The waitress made me feel dumb when I tried to check about gluten free precautions. I’d recommend staying away from here if you’re not gluten-free by choice.

Bring your appetite! They make several of their waffles GF and yes, on a dedicated waffle maker. Your server can tell you which ones. We had the Mexican waffle and Original Belgian with apples. They also have Italian coffee. Service was also great!

Waffles and pancakes could be gluten free, but cross contamination is BAD. I got really sick after.

This place is a true gem! Hungry Guy size portions, reasonable prices, and easy on the eyes wait staff (I know that doesn’t matter). Menu item: two eggs your way $8.95 I ordered two eggs over easy, seasoned potatoes (off the hook good), three sausage links and gluten free pancakes with blueberries (they added $1.00 for the blueberries). Incredibly fast and attentive wait staff and they play decent music as well. If you’re someone who wants a real country style and size breakfast at a reasonable price this is the place to go. I found it while visiting Chicago and the McCormick Place convention Center.
This was the first my daughter had gluten free pancakes in a restaurant for 2 years. While the pancakes were good, it was the fresh whipping cream that was delicious!!
Gluten free waffles.
It's pretty decent. I was happy to learn they had gluten free pancakes and waffles. Although, gluten free items are not marked on the menu.
