This is the only fast food place that I feel safe eating at. I always order the grilled chicken nuggets and french fries. I let them know while ordering that I have celiac disease so they take the precautions.
website has a GF menu that lists the French fries as GF, but when I asked the manager, he wasn't sure.
I have celiac so I asked and they fry the fries in a separate fryer than the chicken. Also they were very accommodating as no bun with the grilled chicken and with lettuce to wrap the grilled chicken. Love this place. Very happy that I don't have to give it up since my diagnosis.
Love ChicFilA!! They are always great!
My wife and I love Chik-Fil-A and their food, but this particular restaurant has not been good for us at all. We've been here twice. The first time my wife got a frozen coffee and it had cookie bits in it. This past time she got salad that was cross-contaminated. We will continue to support Chik-Fil-A as a whole but we won't be visiting this one again any time soon.
They are reliable as long as you know what to order! For celiacs - fries and grilled nuggets. We have also accidentally preserved grilled chicken breast by itself and did not see an adverse reaction but that is supposedly not guaranteed GF while grilled nuggets more or less are. Not sure how that works since would be on same grill presumably.
I've eaten here about 3 dozen times since my diagnosis. It's the only place I trust. Avoid the busy times if you are a celiac. Cross contamination is more of a gamble. But the fries are always cooked in a dedicated dryer because they use a different kind of oil for them than the chicken.
Dedicated fryer for French fries. I'm really sensitive, and I haven't gotten sick here.
This is such a great fast food option for us! A family member has Celiacs but we all love the grilled nuggets. Their fries have a designated frier so she can order French fries if she's in the mood - fruit is always a great option, too! All their sauces are GF, as well.
The kids love Chic-Fil-A. Their waffle fries don't share the same fry oil as breaded food, unlike most fast food restaurants, so they are pretty safe. The grilled nuggets are purportedly gluten free, and my celiac son has never been sick after eating here. The staff is unusually attentive and well-trained for a fast food place.
Chick-fil-A is adding a gluten free bun to their menu in the summer! They also have salads that are gluten free and you can ask for a grilled sandwich without the bun too. They can also make a special note on your order saying "gluten free" so the kitchen knows while preparing your food.
This food is not gluten free. My stomach hurts after I go there.
