I agree with Lucy! 4/5 times I get the wrong order at the drive thru ... I shouldn't have pull over and park to check the order and go back again in line every single time. I understand that there are peak hours in where staff is very busy and mistakes happen which is more than understandable but the impolite second interactions are unnecessary. Tried contacting them but never heard back unfortunately.
Nope, not again for me. I had read nice things about their nuggets, etc. My daughter and I went through the drive through a few days ago. She got the regular sandwich. I ordered the grilled nuggets and coleslaw. We got all the way home and my nuggets were breaded. I took my meal back to them (which is about a 15 minute drive). When I went through again and explained what happened the girl said OK pull through. I got to the window and the woman standing there very rudely said "you the one with the nuggets"? I said, yes and said I was sorry I could not eat the breaded nuggets. Her reply to me then was "what so you want me to just GIVE you these"? I gave her back my sack with the breaded and she handed me the grilled - no I'm sorry, no nothing. I got home and they were the slimy and nasty. I couldn't even eat them. I won't go back to this Chick-fil-a again.
Gf fries and grilled chicken nuggets
Their new gluten free bun is the best gfree bun I've ever had!!! It was so soft and didn't fall apart either (even though I put chick fil a sauce ALL over it). Not only that but when they give it to you the bun is still packaged separately so that you know it hasn't been handled or cross contaminated. The grilled chicken sandwich was such amazing and definitely a step up from just the normal grilled nuggets I'm used to having from there.
They finally have a gf bun!!!!!!! It comes wrapped in a sealed cellophane wrapper so you can strict the sandwich your self. SMART!! However, it doesn't matter if they put it on the side and construct your sandwich with a multigrain bun. When I called, I was told it was my husband's fault stating he should have said no bun, with a gf bun on the side. WHAT????? She also proceeded to explain cross contamination and that's why the gf bun is in a sealed wrapper. OH, ok!! So you DO know what cross contamination is! By the way, I have had their salads 100s of time with no issues.....
gluten free bun tasted good, but was served still a little frozen. overall pretty good experience.
You do have to be very specific, but once you tell them about your allergen, they mark it and must take care as I have ordered breakfast sandwiches without the bread and hashbrowns for breakfast several times and never gotten sick as they fry their potatoes in a separate fryer. I have also eaten the grilled chicken nuggets and waffle fries with no ill-effects from several locations! You can also add the nuggets to a salad, just be sure to specify no croutons, breaded add-ons etc. honestly, this is the only fast food place I will go! UPDATE!!! They are now offering gluten free buns that are prepackaged to prevent cross contamination!
we love our Chick-fil-a. they are so friendly and accommodating.
They have the bun now. Buns come out wrapped with your sandwich in the regular box. They don't come out warm. But they are still good.
With having Celiac Disease I am nervous to go to many restaurants as I get violently sick if I ingest gluten. This location gets my food right every time. They now have gluten free buns as well and they come individually sealed. Way to take care of your gluten free customers.
Though they have one of the least selection when it comes to gluten allergins, Chick-fil-A has the best allergin menu that they adhere to as if it were in the Bible. Not going to lie, their fried chicken of all is Awesome but they have grilled chicken, Fries, HashBrown Tots, Fruit and a few other things and have never gotten sick. Just have to let them know and usually the Manager takes care of it so there's no cross contamination.
Love chick fil a. I always get grilled nuggets and fries and specify I have a gluten allergy. Make sure you check which sauces are okay but I love chick fil a and Polynesian sauce. I also probably wouldn't feel safe getting shakes unless I was the first person to get one since they have cookies and cream ones.
For six years I've asked for a gluten-free bun every time I went to Chick-fil-A. I already knew they didn't have them, but I was trying to create a demand. They just started using gluten-free buns last week and I tried it today. Not the best gluten-free bun I've ever had, but I'm happy with it. They treat gluten allergies very seriously at this location. They asked me if it was a preference or an allergy, when I told him allergy, they cleaned off the milkshake machine because I ordered a milkshake. They also have a dedicated fryer.
Kids climbing tunnel playground at Siegen location is nice. Good food! Gluten free bun, salads.
They have dedicated fryers for the waffle fries and grilled chicken that will be prepared in a strict gluten free environment IF YOU SAY the word "celiac". I've only had one problem where a girl bagged my fries in the same bag as my family's breaded chicken (I am EXTREMELY sensitive to gluten) but when I said something, the manager stepped in and gave me fresh fries separately bagged.
The staff didn't know offhand if the sriracha sauce had gluten in it and I told them not to worry. I planned to just look it up online since they were busy, but the person who took my order printed off nutritional info and brought it to me. (It does have gluten. But the BBQ and Polynesian don't!)
As of TODAY 6/20/17 they have gluten free buns!! I got a gluten free grilled chicken club and fries. The fries are put in their own dedicated fryer. They put on new gloves when making my sandwich. They were so friendly to me about it that I almost cried. Such a great experience.
dedicated fryer for waffle fries, grilled nuggets, salad, milkshakes
