Made my regular GF Chick-fil-A lunch order in the drive thru: 8 count grilled nuggets, medium fry and CFA sauce. Specifically asked for my meal to be bagged separate from the others and for preparer to change gloves. Got to the window, everything came out in one bagged packed to the brim, with my order on the very bottom. I re-informed the drive thru worker of my allergy and needs, and she provided a replicate meal in a separate bag, no charge. I tested both the chicken and fries with my Nima sensor, and it resulted with gluten found.
Chick-fil-A offers gluten free grilled chicken nuggets and many locations have dedicated fryers for fries. Check with your location if cross-contamination is a concern for you.
My celiac hubby eats at this location at least once per week without a problem! They have never made him sick! So thankful they fry their fries in a separate oil :)
Best GF fast friendly! Always helpful. Always nice.
I lOVE Chic Fil a! It’s great place to go with non gf friends! I always get the grilled chicken nuggets... I have been accidentally given fried a few times, but the employees always switch it out... just be sure to check your order!!!!!
The chicken is gluten free. The gf bun comes in a sealed package (and you put the sandwich together yourself). The bun was okay, but not great. I’ll probably just do protein style next time. The fries are in a dedicated fryer. They also agreed to changing gloves when I requested. The manager on the phone was helpful too.
Nima Sensor said gluten free for grilled nuggets and fries. Always specify that your order is for a gluten Allergy and make sure that they flag the order. I have had grilled nuggets come back positive for gluten at OTHER Chick Fil A locations. So far so good at this location though.
You can order gluten free bun with any sandwich. Grilled chicken is also gluten free. It was good and didn’t make me sick. There are also salad options. Unfortunately the fries are not gluten free, but they do have bagged potato chips that are.
This goes for any chic fil a in my experience: I've never gotten sick from them, which is fantastic. However, many times I've been given moldy bread and other times they're out of the bread. They're always considerate and kind, and I can tell they do their best with what they're given, but it's just not always a pleasant experience.
Chick-fil-A just recently brought out a gluten free bun, their fries are gluten free (save for cross contamination, I presume), and all of their sauces (except my old favorite sweet and spicy Sriracha) are gluten free.Per their website (May 2019) "Due to the handcrafted nature of our food, variations in our supplier ingredients and our use of shared cooking and preparation areas, we cannot ensure that our restaurant environment or any menu item will be completely free of gluten. Chick-fil-A restaurants are not gluten-free. Find more detailed information about our allergens and ingredients in the Allergens Guide.)"
I have celiac (I’m very sensitive) and I go to this location a lot. They have many gluten free options. I always get grilled chicken something, and also make sure they red flag it for a gluten allergy and request them to change their gloves. The fries are gluten free (dedicated fryer for fries). For breakfast they have a hash brown bowl that you can change the chicken to grilled chicken nuggets and it is gluten free. I have never gotten sick here, and I enjoy my visit every time. Just a tip for all Chick-fil-a’s, I have gotten contaminated twice at two Chick-fil-a’s during lunch time. They usually get extremely busy and I think that’s when they slip up. This one in particular I have never experienced that. So I definitely recommend them!!
Staff has taken extra steps for us. My 4 year old celiac has never gotten sick. They use a separate fryer for the French fries and she has always gotten the grilled nuggets or just fries and a fruit cup.
Sarah was very friendly and made sure to note "gluten allergy" on my receipt. This is my second visit to a Chick-fil-a and have not been glutened either time. Good food, great atmosphere! Wish there was on in Southern Oregon...
