Chicken Meets Rice

This is a good place to go for simple, wholesome food. I’ve eaten here many times and they’ve never let me down.

The poached chicken leaves a little to be desired, but you can order it with dark meat and skin attached if that’s your thing. The BBQ chicken is great, and so is the tofu. I pair these all with the ginger scallion oil, which mixes well in the broths. Their signature “Coffee Meets Tea” packs also packs a flavorful caffeine punch!

they will change their gloves and most of the menu is GF, plus no cutting board CC.

they do handle fried chicken directly with gloves, so there is likely some CC as they prepare different orders.

food is quite good and reasonable for San Jose.

Decent though nothing to go out of your way for. If you’re hungry and need a meal in the area then it’s there.

Fantastic flavor and fast. Things are all gluten free unless labeled NOT gluten free. Had grilled chicken with the teriyaki and ginger sauce. Very good and fast service. Felt safe as most items were gluten free.

Hearty portions, delicious sauces. Most items are GF and clearly marked on menu. Ordered grilled chicken box with sweet chili sauce and savory ginger sauce. Delivered quickly to hotel. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

Nearly everything is gluten free and very well marked. Didn’t ask about cross contamination so can’t speak to that, but food was really good!
