This place is cute and different. I personally want to really like it however, there ended up being some pasta noodles in my broccoli salad which made it not Celiac safe. I will also note getting the meal without the bread and crackers makes it less filling and I was still hungry after my two scoops. I think this place is great for chicken salad lovers and for non-Celiacs, but probably not somewhere I will visit again.
The franchise owner was very knowledgeable about Celiacs and was happy to answer questions. You can get any of the chicken salads, egg salad, or pimento cheeses either as a stand-alone with a side (most are GF) or on a salad, or they’ll give you chips instead of cracks if you want to eat it that way. They even have a GF rice krispy treat for dessert.
Portions are small and invariably they put a wrapped cookie on the side of your serving tray. I just push it away since it’s not close to the food or utensils.
Many of the chicken salads are gluten-free. I don’t know about bread or cross-contamination
I really enjoy their varieties of chicken salad, which are gluten free! The side broccoli salad is also a yummy gf option. They are no longer serving the GF wraps, which is a bummer, but I appreciate that if they can’t serve them safely, they won’t. I now pick up chicken salad to go and eat it at home for a quick meal.
I love this place, they only have a gluten free wrap but it’s amazing! All their chicken salad is gluten free and most sides as well.
