They just opened up and it was the server’s first day (and like first minute of her first day) but she was honest about that and made sure to ask the manager and kitchen lots of questions to be sure what’s gluten free (because the menu isn’t marked).
Anything fried is not gluten free (shared fryer) with the exception of the chips somehow. I’m not sure if I believe that the chips are gluten free but she said they were made before the gluten items were fried. I didn’t react so maybe she was right. I’m not sure if that’s generally true though or if it was just when I went yesterday.
I tried the chips and salsa, pollo al carbon, steak fajitas, rice, and beans; All those are all gluten free. From what I remember: Most of the “los fuertes” items are gluten free, the Wednesday special is gluten free, and the puffy taco is NOT gluten free.
Food was pretty good! Margarita is SUPER good.
