Chips no longer was able to dedicate a fryer for gluten free due to the popularity of their restaurant . They are ok for gluten intolerant as the staff does try to do all they can. There fries changed but they are going back to the gluten free kind but they will not be able to dedicate a fryer unfortunately!!! Very allergy friendly as well as having a huge menu with tons of options. My entire family found lots to love and we will definitely return.is Also when we asked about the mustard and such the owner went to investigate and make sure we were safe.

Thanks Guys!

Fries are NOT safe. However, this place is cheap and tasty! Super awesome sports bar type environment but also super family friendly. Recommend!

Update - it’s not the fryer that has changed. They are using a different company for their fries and all fries are coated in a gluten seasoning. No sides are gluten free. The chili also has gluten. Girl at the counter was super helpful but it’s sad they changed fries. still a good burger and cider on draft. Gluten free buns.

So sad came in today and was told they no longer had dedicated fryer for fries. The only thing they had were the burgers. Will no longer be coming back. What's a burger without fries

The burgers and fries are very tasty. Restaurant has too many TVs and no seats where you can't see them.

My wife, who has a VERY sensitive case of Celiac Disease, and I recently ate here; each ordering a 1/3 lb burger on a gluten free bun with fries. The food was all delicious, and did not gluten my wife. This was the first restaurant burger that my wife has been able to eat without getting sick in the one year since her diagnosis. We were skeptical despite the favorable FMGF reviews, since my wife has been glutened by more "gluten free" meals than I care to count, but she had no symptoms after the meal. The gluten free buns were also the best that I've had, including our spotty attempts to make them at home. Also, we arrived only 30 minutes before closing, and the staff were still courteous, and our hostess took the time to go speak with the kitchen staff. Our order arrived quickly, and we were out the door in about 10 minutes. We will visit Chip's again.

Not only had a great burger on bun(with delicious dedicated fryer fries) but found out GFbuns came from Local Oven and went there to pick up more GF breads for home!

Great burgers with GF buns and dedicated fryer! Nice menu selection with veggie burger and Portabella mushroom patty vegetarian options. Talked to the manager and they are very aware of celiac issues. Just opened in the Lakewood area and is one of the only good GF burger places nearby.
