Great food! Labeled what was gluten free well. Chicken has an amazing flavor to it!
I hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but this place is not very conscious of gluten free. The person taking our order spoke zero English and even when I tried to explain gluten and cross contamination in Spanish, it did not register. And when another person came out to help, they said, “yeah I think we can do gluten free” when it is clearly listed on the menu. They may do gluten free enough for people not worried about CC, but if you have concerns about CC, it is not worth it. Additionally, two chicken tacos on a paper plate is $15.
Walking distance from our hotel. Food was safe. I had the fish tacos, my daughter had the chicken. We also had the chips and 3 salsas- which was the highlight. The mango salsa and the red salsa were amazing…the green creamy salsa was very spicy! Everything was safe- most important, no reactions. But the food was just ok. We also had a flan after the tacos.
Food was delicious but pricey but we were glad to eat the chips so didn't mind the price so much. Tacos were delicious. Sangria good too. Ambiance not so great but when we can eat the food, that's fine. Casual, tasty, and they knew what Celiac was as soon as I said it which always makes us happy.
This place is an absolute gem for a quick but delectable bite. And as someone on a gluten-free diet, there were so many options. I had the Papas Rojas and the Skirt Steak tacos and they were both simply perfect. The meat is seasoned to perfection and the coconut ranch sauce on the Papas Rojas potatoes was fantastic. Definitely worth visiting and I will certainly be back the next time I'm in the city.
